Welcome home Dr. Angelou.
The catered reception which began promptly at 11:30 a.m., was a high society affair for
the lawyers, politicians, doctors, clergy, educators, businessmen, etc., that were in
attendance to hear Dr. Angelou speak, and celebrate the accomplishments of the 10 young
students who were being honored for their Words of Wisdom. Mixed salad,
onion tart wedge, Beef Wellington, twice-baked potato, and more, were served as the
events delicacies for the more than |

450 special guests who mingled and became more acquainted while preparing
to hear Dr. Angelous remarks.
According to information released by Little Rock based Alltel (NYSE: AT), |

| which is one of the nations largest telecommunications companies
with more than 10 million wireless customers, and the owner of the nations largest
wireless network, the 10 winners were selected by educators, business leaders and Alltel
officials based on their responses to the essay question: 'What words of wisdom will
you pass on to those who come after you?
The list of 10 students, who all banked $4,000 scholarships and toured several other
Little Rock historical landmarks during their visit, in no particular order are Karah
