He is arguably, without question, one of the greatest business leaders to ever live. With
the help of countless individuals, families, firms, and governments, Sam M.
Walton created a multi-billion dollar (potentially multi-trillion dollar)
empire with all of the trappings of superstar business success. And now the flagship
business school that so appropriately bears his name, situated on the University of
Arkansas at Fayetteville campus, is undergoing a substantial building, technology and
human resource base boom.
The Sam M. Walton College of Business, University of Arkansas,
is without a doubt undergoing one of its largest ever capital improvement projects. A

and in particular the building and facilities development around the Walton College. I

A few years ago I reported to you and paid special tribute to the retirement of former Walton College Dean, Doyle Z.
Williams. Well
after a few years I thought it appropriate to return to the
college and see what if anything had changed good or bad, since Dean Williams retired from
the top post. Needless to say, there is a lot going on; a lot of good that is. The college
